In 2005, Whirlwind made an exploratory visit to the Republic of Georgia and got feedback from local wheelchair riders on one of the first RoughRider prototypes. Rider feedback is a critical part of the design process and helps ensure that our designs meet the riders' real needs for mobility and usability.
