Marketing Manager - The Marketing Manager will promote sales of Whirlwind products in the USA using traditional and social media.  Responsibilities will include marketing-related tasks like creation of marketing materials, creation and monitoring of marketing campaigns, customer service, and development of support materials for new products.  Also, the marketing manager will improve Whirlwind's international customers' capacity to appropriately provide the RoughRider.  This will include the creation of instructional materials for community-based rehabilitation workers.  Our small innovative team offeres a wide range of opportunities that will keep the job fresh.  Opportunities include technical writing, public relations, and directing video projects.  For more information, please see the job description.

Social Media Marketing Intern – The Social Media Marketing Intern will promote the Buy One Give One program for our RoughRider wheelchair that was recently approved by the FDA for sale in the US.  For every RoughRider sold in the US, Whirlwind will give-away one to someone in need in places like Haiti, Sudan and Indonesia.  Social Marketing intern responsibilities include tweets, blog posts, Facebook updates, Google Adwords strategy, and mange SEO.  For more information, please see the job description.

Senior Quality Control Specialist -  We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in setting up, implementing and overseeing quality control procedures on physical products such as wheelchairs.  You will ensure compliance with established quality control standards for six wheelchair manufacturing sites around the world plus a small but rapidly growing number of assembly sites in the developing world.  You will develop and coordinate special activities and programs necessary to meet and maintain quality standards and reliability of our manufactured products. This position will most likely include periodic visits to the facilities, receiving and testing wheelchairs in our San Francisco headquarters, and providing remote quality control through Internet video and web-based instruction manuals and videos.  You are someone who has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is adept at motivating and influencing people. You also have strong technical, organizing, planning and problem-solving skills.  You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least ten years of experience in a role directly related to this position.  Our ideal candidate is a retired professional who is interested in a light but highly meaningful work load.
